On August 21, between Masses, there will be a REQUIRED meeting with parents for all children enrolling in religious education and/or going through sacramental preparation. Information will be put out for both. We always support parents as the primary catechists of their children. Formal RE classes are offered, not mandated, if parents would like another voice supporting the teaching of the faith in their families. We will not teach error. We will teach the Catholic faith. This meeting will also include the mandated annual Safe Environment briefing.

Please be aware that due to construction on the westbound I-20 access road between McCart and Trail Lake, access to the church is difficult, but not impossible. Much of the intersection at the access road and Westcreek is closed, so anyone coming to the church during the day, regular construction working hours, will likely have to go through the gas station and auto shop parking lots, and then up onto the access road before turning into the church parking lot. I asked the construction crew if I was going to have to shut down the church, and they told me that I would not have to.
Images and Crucifixes will be covered in the church effective Saturday afternoon in observance of Passiontide. Palm Sunday will have a Solemn Entrance at the 9 am Mass and Solemn Procession for the 11 am Mass. Holy Thursday Mass at 6 pm. Good Friday Service of the Cross at 3 pm. Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday will begin at 9 pm. Easter Sunday Masses at the normal 9 and 11 am.
Father has to go to Minnesota for a family baptism. All events will be closed at the church Monday-Thursday, March 21-24, unless you've coordinated with Father for separate building access to do something. All events are still a "go" for Friday, March 25th, the Solemnity of the Annunciation. The Solemnity trumps the Friday in Lent - it's a "feast," not a "fast."
Under "About" and "Church" are 2 photo albums of the dedication Mass on 2/2/22. The website limit is 20MB per picture. Some are from photographer Matt Redden, and some from photographer Bernadette Hamilton, both members of the parish.
Tuesday 6 pm - Knights of Columbus hosting a potluck. Get rid of the all the things that you said you weren't going to eat during Lent. Don't let them be a temptation! Wednesday - Ash Wednesday Masses at 7 am, noon, and 6 pm; no ladies' Rosary group. Thursday - Father's day off for the week, but he'll be in the church offering a quiet, private Mass at 7 am. Friday - Stations of the Cross at 6 pm, followed by a meatless potluck, all over in the parish hall and gym. First Friday - No 5 pm Mass, because of a wedding rehearsal, so the FF Mass is at noon. First Saturday - As per the parish calendar. Retired Ordinariate priest Fr. Nick Marziani will offer the Saturday evening vigil Mass, as Fr. Bolin has a wedding in the afternoon at St. Patrick Cathedral.
On Wednesday, October 6, 2021, we closed on the purchase on our new church property of 3550 Southwest Loop 820, Fort Worth, TX 76133. Consecration with the bishop will be February 2, 2022 (2/2/22 - Candlemas, Presentation of the Lord, Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary). In the meantime, if you click on this announcement, you'll see the new weekly liturgical schedule for after our move-in. Adoration is not on it, as the plan is to set up for perpetual adoration in the chapel, which is completely separate from the church-proper. Until consecration in June, we cannot offer public worship there (Mass, Morning Prayer, or Evening Prayer). Confession is available according to this schedule.
