In 2012, 63 members of St. Timothy's Episcopal entered into full communion with the Catholic Church under Bishop Vann at St. Mary of the Assumption in Fort Worth. They were confirmed on Pentecost, maintaining the name St. Timothy's Catholic, one of the early communities of the Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter. In 2016, Bishop Olson moved the community from St. Mary of the Assumption to the Diocese of Fort Worth Catholic Center, where we continued to meet until February of 2022. From 2012's 63 members, the community sat at 65 in mid-2019, but in early 2022, the community counts approximately 350 people as members of the parish family. Under 'photos' you'll find pictures from the dedication of our new church, the first new church building ever in the Ordinariate, as well as the video of the dedication Mass with Bishop Lopes on his own episcopal anniversary of 2/2/22!
At St. Thomas Becket we are all one big family. We get together for home Masses and young family gatherings at private homes. We are always happy to gather whether it be for worship, charity, or fellowship.
