Due to the recent purchase of our new church property, and consecration of the church set for 2/2/22, religious education is family-based for 2021-2022. We plan to begin using the classrooms at the new property in the fall of 2022. Sacramental preparation guidance is available from Fr. Bolin for children to receive First Communion and Confirmation in the spring of 2022.
Both Father and every member of the St Thomas Becket are active in pastoral care. From meal trains to helping each other in times of need, our small community stays active and in contact.
Louis-Marie and Shannon Onfray are hosting choir practices, and small scholas support Masses as able. All singing is acapella at this time. We are singing the Latin chant responses, though we will add in historic English chants as we grow.
Catechism class is offered for all who seek the sacraments, contact Fr. Bolin for more information. Classes may be started at any time and can be completed on an individual basis.
At St. Thomas Becket we are all one big family. We get together for home Masses and young family gatherings at private homes. We are always happy to gather whether it be for worship, charity, or fellowship.
Men are invited to join the Knights of Columbus, St. Edmund Campion Council. We also have groups of men that participate in Guns & Rosaries of north Fort Worth. Men can also serve at the altar, and if called, may be trained as Instituted Acolytes.
Ladies are invited to join the study groups (north and south Fort Worth), as well as assisting with the Altar Guild.
All Adults are also welcome to assist with usher duties of helping set up and tear down the room we use for Mass, and counting the offering after the Sunday Noon Mass.
